LAMAYURU SCHOOL

Lamayru'school is located at an altitude of more than 3,000 meters on the heights of the Himalayas. Winters are very harsh, with temperatures as low as -40°. The school has about fifty children, thirty-five of whom are boarders. France Himalayas Third World has participated in the financing of its reconstruction and each year, it sets up a project. ​

In 2022, it financed lockers and storage furniture for children.

In 2023, she will take the initiative to lay parquet flooring on the 3,500 m2 of the school because the children study sitting on the cemented floor covered with a thin carpet.
